Who are we?
Ripjaw Media is comprised of the Director duo Travis Ross and Samantha Ross. Based in Michigan, Travis and Samantha are renowned for their ability to create captivating and emotionally immersive stories with a strong cinematic presence. Their diverse projects span across various formats including Music Videos, Short Films, Commercial Work, Branded Content, and more. In 2023 Ripjaw Media expanded their footprint by establishing Primal Media Co. in collaboration with Drew Jacobs with the intention of consolidating their commercial and marketing projects under this new brand.
Travis and Samantha have had the privilege of collaborating with notable artists such as Eva Under Fire, No Resolve, Hinder, STATE of MINE, Drew Jacobs, and Big SMO among others. Their portfolio has amassed an impressive 120+ million digital video streams across social platforms.
In the commercial sector, they have worked on projects for brands such as Michigan Brews, CareConvene, Mednet One & Honor Community Health, Claud Heffron Heating & Cooling, and Saga of The Wolf book series. Their short film debut was in 2018 with “Her Last Letter” which featured country music artist Drew Jacobs. In 2020, Travis and Samantha collaborated with Bridget Smith of Philly Born Films to co-direct Eva Under Fire’s (Better Noise Music Label) official music video “Heroin(e)”, a featured track in the independent film Sno Babies directed by Bridget Smith (2020, Better Noise Films). They have also directed music videos for certified billboard chart-topping songs such as “God’s Country”, “The Thunder Rolls”, “Surface Pressure”, and “Kiss From A Rose” by musical artists STATE of MINE, Drew Jacobs, No Resolve, and Brandon Davis (Noise Machine Records).
